As of summer 2026, The Stella Historic Llandudno Bed and Breakfast discontinued its dog sitting services.

Previously, we were able to offer in-house dog sitting services to allow guests enjoy local attractions where dogs may not be permitted. However, The Stella is no longer able to provide this service; as Kristin now has a resident back-of-house dog, Oakley, the commitments associated with his care mean that it is no longer possible for Kristin to also offer onsite dog sitting for guest dogs. 

 

Please note that The Stella's dog policy remains unchanged: dogs must not be left unattended in guest rooms when owners are away from the premises. This policy is in place for the comfort, safety and wellbeing of all guests and dogs staying at The Stella.

 

We're committed to ensuring both you and your canine companions have a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Llandudno. If you require dog sitting or daytime care during your stay, we're still happy to help. The Stella has a trusted network of local, certified pet care professionals, and we can connect you to arrange suitable alternative care. Simply contact Kristin before your stay, and she will work with you and our local network to help facilitate appropriate arrangements for your dog.

 

As a kind reminder: Per The Stella's pet policy, dogs may be left unattended in a guest bedroom for a short time, as long as their owner is still onsite. However, dogs cannot be left unattended in guest rooms when their owner leaves The Stella’s premises.​
